I Am Young Black and Inspired

"I am Young, Black and Inspired" was created to build children's confidence, self-esteem, imagination, and spirit. It seeks to remind and inspire children of color that they are worthy, beautiful, intelligent, and unique. Black and brown kids need affirmations to remind them of their importance, reinforce values and confirm they are never alone. This book is written so that children can learn self-affirmations in an "I am..." format and easily repeat them daily. These affirmations will assist in building children's awareness, acceptance, and self-love. With repetition, these wonderful and strong affirmations will add value to readers' lives and those that surround them.
