I AM Determined

I AM Determined is a story about pursuing your dreams in the midst of obstacles and adversity. Derrick had a lot of anger and sadness when his father left the home. As a result, he made a mistake which landed him in juvenile hall. While in juvenile hall, he decided that he would not be another statistic. So, when he was released he excelled in school with the help of his counselor. Derrick was determined to make the positive words his mother spoke over him his reality. He was determined to be great and do great things. This is a family book for all children who have experienced adversity and need some encouragement and motivation. This is also a family book for children who have made mistakes and need to forgive themselves so that they can progress in life.
