"I Am Black But Comely" looks from Genesis to Revelation on the presence of black people in Scripture, God's black messengers in Scripture, puts to silence the false teachings on the supposed "Curse of Ham", looks at hidden racism in the church, looks at the original color of man, the color of God, and the color that God's people will be for the ages to come. We are a new species now, old things are passed away and all things become new. The heart of this book is to give honor where honor is due in the great contributions of black people in God's great plan of redemption, expose any hidden racism in all of our hearts, and give us the correct vision to see each other as God sees us as we prepare ourselves for the ages to come and as we, being one people, eagerly wait to be changed into our glorified bodies
