Hourglass Treasures

This is the story of a boy named Jamie and his friend Emily, with her adorable and mischievous dog Gigi. They live in North Carolina near the shore where they love to go in search of adventures. Their activities lead them to the discovery of a mysterious sign carved on a rock, by a cliff overlooking the ocean. Upon research, they find that such a sign was commonly left behind by 17th centuries pirates who roamed the coastal waters of North Carolina. Their curiosity leads them to dangerous adventures with evil doers of present and a dark and menacing past. There is much suspense and intrigue as the characters get involved in dangerous adventures looking for and eventually finding the treasures left behind by ruthless pirates. Most of all the adventures led them to realize the strong love they had for each other. If you love young adventurers in search for treasures and the meaning of love you will enjoy this book. Dog lovers will love Gigi and her mischievous personality.
