Honest John

The year is 2032, when the UK has become a semi-autonomous region of a European Superstate. A military clique bent on seizing power has invaded the home of elderly twin brothers John and Simon Briggs - one a retired general and former head of the regional government, the other a once highly successful and powerful businessman. The general, war veteran and pragmatic republican, had been responsible for negotiating the country's place in a federalized EU's scheme of things. Now the plotters want to groom him as a figurehead who can lend respectability to their revisionist plans.
