Homecoming

On the surface, Akwele has it all: a caring husband and a successful career as a software engineer. But just as everything is poised to take off the past comes to call, bringing with it secrets that threaten to turn her world upside down. Summoned to the childhood home she hasn't seen in thirteen years, Akwele is forced to confront her first love, Tetteh. Determined to be strong, old memories and past hurts soon come rushing back and the once-strong Akwele begins to unravel at her very core. No longer sure of who she is, or why she can't let go of the past, she searches desperately for answers. Will this homecoming heal past wounds or leave her with fresh ones?
