Homecoming

"Amidst the ocean of ticking clocks,
Beyond the cliff of ancient rocks,
There exists a kingdom so pure,
That its gaze no mortal may endure.

Night and day rest as one,
Their labor at last done,
As shimmering stars become mighty suns,
And through their skin a rainbow runs.

Did fire give birth to light?
Or was it a naughty wind that
caused the fight?
