Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. In passages which necessarily run parallel with pas sages in the Memoirs and the Sherman Letters, it will be found that the new merely supplements, but does not duplicate, what has been printed before.
