Holy Mysteries

This is a large print edition of Holy Mysteries: Encountering the risen Jesus. The book journeys through the Great Fifty Days from Easter to Pentecost offering daily reflections on the resurrection through scripture and the early church tradition of teaching about the holy mysteries of the sacraments in Eastertide. Frank and Victoria weave together the strands of the resurrection appearances found in the Bible with the teachings of some of the notable witnesses to this Easter season throughout church history. They also each offer a personal reflection each week on how they have encountered Jesus it prompt the reader to consider the ways, both mundane and surprising, when they have experienced the risen Jesus.

Frank serves as the Bishop of the Diocese of Georgia. Victoria is a tertiary in the Third Order, Society of Saint Francis. Among their previous books are the Lenten devotional A Spring in the Desert from Forward Movement and Feast of Feasts: Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany with St. Francis.
