HIV and sexually transmitted infections in the Western Pacific region

This report documents the achievements and challenges of the Region's health sector response to the epidemic over the past decade. It identifies best practices and important opportunities to further reduce the number of new infections, and prolong and improve the quality of people living with HIV (PLHIV) in WPR. Many of the issues described in this report are not unique to the Region, but the specific context of WPR countries and examples are used to underscore the challenges and opportunities.
