History of the Kildare Hunt

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. I know of no earlier mention of the fox as a beast of chase, and that exploit of the legendary hero may be claimed by Irishmen with some confidence as the first record of a sport which has since become national.
