Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. For this reason, as well as from the fact that efforts have been made in some quarters to trace an historical relation between the vestments of the Aaronic priesthood and those of the Christian Church, it will be fitting first of all to describe very briefly the sacred robes of the jews.
