Healthy Campus – Hochschule der Zukunft

Die konzeptionelle Integration gesundheitsförderlicher Maßnahmen und Strukturen in Forschung, Lehre und Verwaltung ist unabdingbar, denn diese gewinnen im Wettbewerb um die besten Köpfe für Hochschulen an Bedeutung. Wie wird die Eigenverantwortung für eine gesundheitsorientierte Lebensweise gefördert? Wie verankert man Gesundheit als Wert in der Hochschulkultur? Wie kann man die individuelle Gesundheitskompetenz stärken und die gesundheitsförderlichen Strukturen ausbauen und entwickeln? Die diesem Band zugrundeliegende Healthy-Campus-Konferenz bot Hochschulen mit entsprechenden Initiativen ein Forum zum intensiven Austausch mit dem Ziel gegenseitiger Optimierung dieser Ansätze. Die Initiativen haben die nachhaltige Förderung und Stärkung der individuellen Gesundheitskompetenz aller universitären Zielgruppen (Verhaltensprävention) sowie den Ausbau gesundheitsförderlicher Strukturen (Verhältnisprävention) zum Gegenstand.The conceptual integration of health promoting programs and structures in research, education and administration is crucial because these programs are becoming increasingly important for universities in the race to gain the best. How do we promote the individual''s responsibility for healthy living? How do we promote health as a value in the academic culture? How can we promote the individual health literacy and encourage and develop health promoting structures? The present volume deals with the Healthy-Campus-Konferenz (Healthy Campus Conference) which gave universities and their health initiatives a forum to discuss and optimize their programs. All initiatives deal with the sustainable promotion and empowerment of individual health literacy for all academic target groups (condition oriented prevention) as well as the development of health promoting structures (structural prevention).
