He Lover of Death

It is an interesting occurrence in literature, when Erast Petrovich Fandorin has to enquire into two matters simultaneously. The action in "He Lover of Death” takes place at the same time as in the novel "She Lover of Death” – an attentive reader will surely notice here all the subtle intertwinements of storylines and destinies of some characters. The homeless teenager Senka, living, in the truest sense of the word, in the catacombs of a market in Khitrovka, unwittingly becomes the only owner of a countless treasure – an antique silver trove. But too many people, indeed, would also like to own it. From the romantic bandit Knyaz, among whose "butt-boys” Senka was formerly – to the mysterious and enigmatic murderer, who kills everyone seeing him at least once. And here appears, by hard adventure, a beautiful girl nicknamed Death, who believes that she destroys everyone. Who falls in love with her. Senka would not have been above ground long ago, without this casual encounter with Erast Petrovich Fandorin…
