Hattie

Hattie's story takes place in the small town of Bedford, Pennsylvania. She is courted by one and all but her heart is won over by Ephram Markle. Ephram takes her to his farm high in the mountains where the only other family living there are Zebediah, his wife Cora and their two sons. This is where her adventures begin. She is beset by many trials and tribulations, but through sheer will power and grim determination, overcomes them all.
