Handbook of Aerial Photography and Interpretation

The book presents the principles and application of black and white aerial photographs for interpretation of imagery as recorded by the aerial camera. However, before the interpreter starts using the photos, he must have knowledge about the geometry of the photos, the manner in which they are obtained and the camera characteristics. The book thus deals with all aspects of photos and their geometry, aerial cameras, stereoscopy and image interpretation. At the end follows a series of photos together with the description of the imagery and the nature of the objects as interpreted.
