Ever since he saw the legendary player known as “the Little Giant” compete at the national volleyball finals, Shoyo Hinata has been aiming to be the best volleyball player ever! Who says you need to be tall to play volleyball when you can jump higher than anyone else?

Hinata may not have been allowed to participate in the Miyagi Prefecture Rookie Camp, but he’s determined to learn something from watching on the sidelines as a ball boy! Then, Date Tech arrives at Karasuno for a practice game, and Karasuno clumsily dances around their own new techniques in an attempt to break through the Iron Wall. As the new year rolls around, the Spring Tournament begins!
