Joined by a ragtag band of allies-from the wise elephant matriarch Old Bet to the relentless tracker Shakira-Dinieve braves the storm-tossed Indian Ocean. With Gusto by her side and whispers from dolphins as her guide, she navigates pirate-infested waters and races to the tropical forests of Singapore to save a young tiger she names Singa.

When her path collides with MacHerne-a rugged Scottish hunter with a heart as wild as the highlands-a fierce connection ignites. He shares her passion for protecting the wild but hides a soul deeply scarred by loss. Though driven by the same cause, their first encounter is laced with danger and misunderstanding. Dinieve mistakes him for a poacher, unaware he has been silently protecting her from the shadows.
