This book is designed to help researchers and PG students better understand the concept of crystal growth techniques and methods. In this book, a crystal for use as a nonlinear element in nonlinear optical devices has been studied. Also, there are many organic materials (L-valine, L-glutamic acid, L-histidine, urea, etc ) that exhibit very high second harmonic generation which is very important as an NLO crystal for device application. This book was aimed at studying the effect of amino acid(L-valine) doping on the growth and characterization of non-linear optical crystals of KDP. An amino acid additive Bulk-size crystal of KDP has been grown. Overviews of different methods of crystal growth techniques and experimental aspects of low-temperature solution growth methods have been studied.
