Ricky (RickyB) Bickham is a music artist/writer from New Orleans, LA, who dives into the realities of listeners over the city's signature brass and percussion sounds, creating feel-good music filled with memories of its unique culture.After years of penning music, he decided to explore his writing skills as an author with the same mindset and approach to writing music. With a perspective of life as it's known by some, unknown by others, but is believed to be the reality of most, he challenged himself to write and create a bestseller just as he did when he penned his first hit record Shake For Ya Hood, a New Orleans Classic.Ricky received his graduate degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, graduating magna cum laude. He became an HSE Professional who still writes and releases music and has established the RickyB 4 LYFE (Lifting Youth and Family Empowerment) non-profit organization, which aims to keep relationships between families and the incarcerated intact by providing means of transportation and lodging for frequent visits to prisons to spend time with loved ones. He writes often and has already completed his next book titled Shake For Ya Hood with a subtitle, It All Started Out Growing Up In The Project.Ricky is an independent writer who is represented by Frank Washington IV of FACE MANAGEMENT.
