Greasing The Wheel

This book is an outcome of the lessons learned during revival experiments conducted by the plant operations control department of one of the Indian Auto Giant without touching the human capital aspect amid 2 years long auto sector turbulence. The experiment aims to provide a scientific rationale to senior management to streamline their operations which is highly responsive to changing market demand. The author has devised a mathematical model to replicate the system which is ultimately shaped in the form of a dashboard for data-driven decision making. Exhaustive application of Japanese concept called "KAIZEN" to reduce the impact of non-conformance cost on the financials of the firm. Thereby, reducing fund leakages to achieve substance amid turbulent times.
