God Our Contemporary

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. All the sermons in the present volume have been in my mind and heart during the past two years and they were preached during the course of my regular ministry at Westminster Congregational Church. I think it Will be found that they centre in the controlling conviction that it is only in the fuller reception of God's grace, and in the more mature understanding of His Will, that we can find a sufficiency of resource to meet all the pressing perplexities of the Soul and all the Wider problems Which attach to the reconstruction of human society. God is the dwelling-place of every generation; and our generation Will find in Him the light for all requisite vision and the strength for all our appointed tasks. God in Christ is our great Contemporary, the same yesterday, to-day and for ever.
