The subject of this book is the emergence of the divine belief, from the time man was taken as Lord until he knew God as the One, and was guided to the integrity of monotheism.We began it with the origin of belief in primitive peoples, then we summarized the beliefs of the peoples that advanced in the eras of civilization, then the beliefs of believers in the heavenly books, and we interpolated that with the doctrines of earlier philosophers and the doctrines of later philosophers, and we concluded it with the doctrines of modern philosophy and the word of modern science on the issue of faith.Our focus was solely on the divine belief, and we did not intend to detail the rituals of religions or to divide the principles of worship.
