Getting Help with Illiteracy

In this story, a student shares with his teacher about his parent's inability to read. The teacher takes the time to work with the parent to become successful with reading. This story encourages adults, as well as children, to pursue learning no matter how old they may be. The illustrator, Jarvis Watkins Eichelberger, was ten years old when he drew the pictures for this book.
