Geoelectrical Imaging for the Mapping of Leachate around Septic Tanks

I observed contaminants can be a major threat to the quality of groundwater thereby resulting to various health problems to man. Therefore a reconnaissance study has to be carried out on samples of water obtained from boreholes that is closed to septic system within Staff Quarters in University of Benin. Hence, the need for a proper environmental study by the application of geoelectrical and physiochemical investigations around septic tanks and this area was selected for investigation due to infiltration of the contaminants plume that leak from underground septic system to groundwater.
