Fun Junior Plays

Three comedy plays for junior actors. All written by professional playwright and cast size flexible for various groups. PLAY 1: Arquin and the New Story: Arquin is the greatest story teller the kingdom has ever known; which is hardly a surprise that he was asked to produce a new story for the Queen's Birthday celebrations on the next day. However Arquin is suddenly struck by something he's never encountered before...writer's block In his quest for inspiration to write a new story, he goes wandering through the woods and meets up with some quirky characters that need his help. Of course Arquin obliges, and in return finds the answer to his new story dilemma DURATION: 15 mins / AGE RANGE: 5 - 12 yrs CAST SIZE: 5-18 (Written so you can add or subtract the characters Arquin meets. Role of Arquin can also be shared.) PLAY 2: Chippy the Elf Saves Xmas: Chippy the Elf has been assigned a new job as Chief Elf of the Toy Factory in the North Pole; she's in charge of keeping everything on track for Christmas. She always dreamed of this job but its Christmas Eve - and everything goes wrong. DURATION: 10 mins / AGE RANGE: 5 - 12 yrs CAST SIZE: 10-18 (can add or subtract elves or combine characters) PLAY 3: Ricky the Robot and his Time Machine: Ricky the Robot is from the future where humans don't exist. He has read books about humans and wishes to be one. His parents send him in his time machine to find out more. DURATION: 15 mins / AGE RANGE: 7 - 12 yrs CAST SIZE: 10-15 (can add or subtract characters)
