In this book, Maroun Abboud presents a precise recipe for building a state, taking Lebanon as a model. After it gained its independence, it had to try to build what colonialism destroyed. In this context, the writer discusses some political and social issues related to nation building, including parliamentary elections, where he clarifies the criteria for electing candidates, warning against being deceived by rhetorical chatter and false promises that candidates make to voters to secure their votes. It also expresses its solidarity with women''s right to vote and run, because they are as worthy as men, and discusses the problem of inheriting positions, and the criteria for selecting state employees, based on competence, away from mediation. It also directs the need to pay attention to medical colleges, provide their requirements, and increase allocations for education in general.
