From the Land of Nod

From the Land of Nod contains poems about wandering that are by turns existential, philosophical, and passionate. Many record incidents the author encountered while working in hospitals and refugee camps in more than fifty countries. Others are drawn from the classics, protests on war witnessed from the battlefields, and reflections on human folly, wastage, and insensitivity. The contents depict an undulating landscape of alternating whimsical and probing themes, all centered on the search for meaning.
