From the history of diplomacy

Nakhchivan region is located in a geostrategic territory, which has always been within the circle of interests of neighboring states and major powers. One of the most important issues facing modern Azerbaijani historiography is to study the history of diplomacy, analyze the lives and activities of diplomats who played an important role in the history of Azerbaijan. The Nakhchivan region, which historically gave outstanding personalities to Azerbaijan, is also the birthplace of a number of outstanding diplomats. None of the Nakhchivan political and state figures mentioned here had diplomatic education. But the situation in which they found themselves, the unjust claims on Nakhchivan made them diplomats.
