This book covers the gradual developement of Johannine Chirstology from addressing Jesus as Rabbi referring to the earthlu life and ministry of Jesus to the acclamationof the glorified Messiah as Lord and God (20;28). It includes evaluating the meaning of the term 'Rabbi' attributed to Jesus and deals with its significant position in understanding the ascending Christology of John.
