From Greek representative literature

Taha Hussein believed in the great role that ancient Greek culture played in the civilizational and cultural composition of modern European thought, and called for the study of the ancient Greek heritage in an in -depth in order to understand modern European life, which would not have been upright had it not been for its dependence on the actions of the leaders of thought and the flags of literature from the ancient Greeks. And since the Greek drama is one of the most prominent cultural products of the Agricultural civilization (where the major works such as epics and poetic plays were left with many human arts and literature, and contributed to the formation of artistic awareness of different nations), "Taha Hussein" chose to translate a group of famous plays for "Sofukles" (One of the most important and greatest Book of Greek tragedy) to engage the Arab reader in identifying the tributaries of the great creativity in Western thought.
