From Brooklyn to the North Pole

From Brooklyn to the North Pole follows Leonard Sussman's 52-day NSF sponsored trip in September and October 2022 on the USCGC icebreaker Healy from Dutch Harbor in the Aleutian Islands to the North Pole. The landscape images, combined with the text and images of the science work on the ship give an honest and sobering view of the growing effects of climate change on these ephemeral landscapes.
