From Birdwatcher to Jailbird

These essays are glimpses of my life as I've moved from watching "my birds" to making the decision to sell my house of 55 years and move to the Happy Home Retirement Community. Within four months of that move, COVID struck and the "great lockdown" began. Living through these past three years has been like riding a roller coaster: emotions swirling up and down, around and around, stopping only to take on more passengers.
