French in Kenya!

This book focuses on French in Kenya, an exolingual context. It introduces and examines the challenges, problems and opportunities associated with the teaching/learning of French in this Anglo-Swahili speaking country in East Africa. As a living foreign language, French coexists with other languages on the Kenyan linguistic landscape. This makes it difficult for Kenyan learners to learn and master the language. What applies to Kenya could also apply to other countries where French is a foreign language. Hence the interest of this book to linguists, sociolinguists, pedagogues and didacticians.
