Net neutrality prevents cable companies from filtering internet content without a court order and fosters freedom of speech. It is one of the most important digital rights issues. The internet is one of the most influential inventions ever, and it touches almost all aspects of our economy, culture, and politics. The repeal of the 2015 Open Internet Order had far greater impact than just removing the FCC's net neutrality rules.
