But that wouldn t have bothered himbecause, besides his academic erudition, he was amazingly intuitive,with his wry skill for -reading his opponent s Body language, whichhe always conducted wearing his famous Cambridge Don sSmile !Were he still with us, he would have shown the opposition that theconcept artifi cial intelligence is something of a misnomer, perhapsmore appropriately supplementary information , and certainly notanything like the idea of intelligence , that he would regard simplyas a human faculty.
