I had no idea how this had come to pass, just how this obsession had so overwhelmed me, but it had. It had me, hook, line and sinker. Perhaps it was all wanton vanity gone astray? But whenever I questioned it, I understood that I didn't want to get better, I just wished I'd never gotten ill in the first place. Lea's life is put on hold when she is admitted to a specialised clinic in London. However, she realises that this rock bottom is just another in a series of descents within her own self-constituted abyss. Lea unknowingly has the key to her future should she decide to embrace it.
