The gritty streets of downtown teemed with the harsh realities of life, where the forgotten dregs of society sought refuge in shadowed alleyways. It was there, nestled amid piles of refuse and discarded dreams, that a solitary figure slumbered—a homeless man named Jack, his ragged clothes and weathered face bearing the scars of a lifetime of hardship.He appeared to be having a nightmare, one of many that had haunted him lately—his face twitched and he groaned in his sleep.Suddenly, Jack's eyes snapped open, a cold sweat clinging to his brow.
