Forgotten Heroes

Being a Normandy Veteran as well as a PoW in both the USA and UK, I did draw on my own experience in writing this book hoping to bring out the reality of war. War is not a game. The story Alfred is a story written in fictional form but based on facts and in chronological order. I hope it touches the reader's heart and conscious as the pain and stress suffered by these Heroes is unknown, why? Because they never talk about these events. To them it was just another job.
