Forests create the air we need to breathe. They provide shade and homes for people and animals. They give us wood for fuel and for building materials. And they are beautiful spaces! But deforestation means humans are destroying more forests every day.As towns and cities grow, people take more land from forests. Trees are cleared for space faster than we can replant them.
