Flesh Peddlers

Dajao Taru stepped onto a boat at a dock in the Philippines, expecting to be a domestic worker in the United States.She has not been seen since. Her sister Halina, who is in the US on a college scholarship, can't go to the police because Dajao is undocumented. Instead, she seeks help from a well-known investigative reporter named Gail Turner. The reporter gets assaulted asking the wrong people questions trying to locate Dajao. Realizing she can't find her without help, Gail Turner turns to Sophie Star. Hearing the missing girl is only fourteen, Sophie doesn't hesitate to take on the search. She has no idea this hunt will take her down a dark and dangerous path.
