"e;Flappers and Philosophers"e; is a collection of eight stories by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Originally published in 1920 it was the first short story collection by Fitzgerald and contains the following stories: The Offshore Pirate, The Ice Palace, Head and Shoulders, The Cut-Glass Bowl, Bernice Bobs Her Hair, Benediction, Dalyrimple Goes Wrong, and The Four Fists. The stories of "e;Flappers and Philosophers"e; are set in the era for which the author is best known, the Jazz Age, a term Fitzgerald himself coined.
