First Interlinear German Reader

This volume was prepared to enable teachers to test the effectiveness of the interlinear method. Each lesson is based on a German passage with literal English interlineation. In the exercises following the interlinear passage, different approaches are made to deepen the student's Sprachgefuhl and give him varied drill in retaining words, idioms, and phrases of the lessons.
