Finding Tucker

As children, our first inclination is to take the animals that we find in the wild and carry them home to see if our parents will allow us to keep them as our pets. So often we are told to return them to their familiar surroundings so they will have a normal life and a better chance for survival. Occasionally, we get a chance to keep them for a while. The lesson in _Finding Tucker_ is to appreciate the short visit he paid and to view his departure as a way of accepting change in our lives. Then by letting the memories be sweet ones rather than sad ones, we learn to appreciate our natural surroundings and truly become guardians of the planet.
