Finance Lab

The book introduces the financial system and the role of financial intermediaries starting with an investigation of the financial needs of people, businesses and institutions. Finance Lab approaches the topic from the perspective of the balance sheets of savers and lenders who interact to fulfill each other's need for funds. The book continues with an analysis of the main characteristics of different financial securities, and the functioning of the main Financial Markets in which they are exchanged where the role of Financial Intermediaries comes into play.
