Fetal heartbeat

Physician and novelist Khaled Zaqli puts us in confusion when things begin to get complicated after Sarah, a Coptic Christian dentist, discovers a disease in her uterus that threatens her ability to have children in the future. However, she refuses to give up, so she accompanies us on a journey in which she chases the dream of motherhood with the help of her friend Aisha and her husband, Omar. It knocks on all doors, confronting one obstacle after another, leaving us questioning our basic rights as human beings in the face of social norms and religious rules.
