Fame and Honor

Harold Brotzman, a carefree fourteen-year-old living in northern Virginia, is struggling to find a purpose in life. His wealthy Catholic family, guilty of their Nazi past, donates money to help America's ailing Catholic schools. Nothing matters to Harold until the night Walther Sch ffer and Isolde Erhardt enter his life. Walther and Isolde, a teenage couple and friends of Harold, are illegal immigrants trying to navigate life in 21st century America. They want Harold and his family to help them make the right choices in a land unknown to them. But old habits are hard to break. And Harold believes the couple has an ulterior agenda, but do they? Will Harold trust Walther and Isolde's sincerity? Will Walther and Isolde learn to be honest with Harold? Or will paranoia and hysteria force them to betray each other?
