Facets of Culture – For Advanced Students of Japanese

This volume supplements the Facets of Culture textbook for advanced-level students of Japanese language. The textbook's six thematic units focus on diversity and boundary-crossing in contemporary Japanese society; topics include popular culture, translation, cross-cultural communication, bioethics, changing work patterns, and individualized learning. The Tasks, Vocabulary, and Sentence Patterns volume provides grammatical information, vocabulary in Japanese and English, and exercises and worksheets to aid the student in grasping the materials presented in the Text volume.
