Exhibits of Conviction

This book is a collection of contributions, most of which have been published in the online press. It was born out of an urgent need to put into words the experiences, reflections, and struggles that have marked my personal and professional journey. Three major themes are explored, each witnessing a facet of my deep convictions: my engagement in the educational field, my reading of the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on our societies, and finally, my political journey. These three areas, far from being compartmentalized, intertwine to trace a path made of learning, questioning, and a constant search for meaning. Although distinct, they are intimately linked by a common will: that of contributing to a fairer, more human, and more resilient world. This work, I hope, will serve to share not only reflections but also an energy-the one that drives me and pushes me to believe in the possibility of the coming advent of a sovereign, supportive, just, and prosperous Senegal.
