Essays and Addresses

Sir Richard Claverhouse Jebb (1841–1905) was an influential Greek scholar and politician. Originally published in 1907, this book presents a carefully chosen selection of essays and addresses taken from Jebb's large body of work. The selections are for the most part based around classical areas, but other topics are also covered. Textual notes are included throughout. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in the classical world and the writings of Jebb.
